Job Overview:

A crucial link between commercial plans and customer orders, the Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving sales efficiencies, benefitting both the company and customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The person delegated to manage, sell, and perform various tasks for a selected group of customers on pre-established routes ensures the daily success of the operation. Sales orders must be generated in line with the assigned delivery frequency for each customer, contributing to financial performance outcomes such as revenue, volume, and gross profit.
  • Carries out suitable promotions and new launches based on targeted lists to reach the desired audience. Performs monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing promotions, Point-Of-Sale creations, and commercial plans ensuring high RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for the assigned clients.
  • The efficient creation of orders that meet drop size objectives, minimize waste and obsolescence, conform to routing schedules, and are approved by customers is the key to operational efficiency.
  • demonstrates a potent and fruitful selling capability to effectively advocate contractual agreements, promotional incentives, modern merchandises, and allotment systems.
  • The ability to adapt communication styles to customer thinking patterns, whether analytical, emotional, or intuitive, can increase productivity and facilitate deeper customer relationships.
  • Reports any pricing, branding, or strategic moves of competitors that could potentially impact the business negatively.
