Job Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Beverage Systems Technician to join the Equipment Services team

The job will involve overseeing activities in Memphis and its adjacent regions.

More and more businesses have adopted a schedule that consists of ten-hour days from Monday to Thursday, providing an extended weekend for their employees

One common expectation of working overnight is that you are likely to encounter a quieter and less hectic work environment. The reduced activity and fewer interruptions can make it easier to focus on your work and be more productive

Business demands may necessitate overnight travel of up to 25% in this position.

Present salary for technical workers with an additional $5/hr differential payment

With a focus on safety, efficiency, and proper reporting practices, the Technician Tech Services will diligently manage tools, parts, and records as they perform their duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage tools and parts effectively to ensure that all necessary equipment is readily available for timely repairs and maintenance of beverage dispensing equipment

Maintain a record of accurate delivery, removal, and movement utilizing handheld devices and ensure that inventory of components is accounted for

Practice safe driving habits by abiding by all motor vehicle laws and avoiding any diversions that may occur while driving. Additionally, make sure to complete all necessary safety training tasks and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. As part of this, it is important to conduct the DOT-required daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

One must undertake the necessary precautions to handle, possess, and oversee every part, tool, supply, or key that is essential for the job's execution

Keeping your knowledge and skills up-to-date with any relevant equipment is essential, and attending all mandatory training sessions is key

Knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) are paramount for successful job performance, as they enable employees to fulfill the job requirements and achieve objectives

The capacity to lift items that weigh 50 pounds is a critical prerequisite for this position

When driving or riding for long periods, it is important to take frequent breaks and stretch your muscles

With the help of electronic devices, hand tools, and refrigeration scales, repair and perform routine maintenance on your refrigeration systems

Carry out duties in various unregulated temperature environments both inside and outside clients' premises

Applicants who wish to be considered for employment in the electrical and refrigeration fields should have relevant experience in these areas. The minimum qualifications require a certain level of knowledge and expertise to ensure the safety and efficiency of the applicant's work

Both a high school diploma and a GED serve as proof that a person has completed a level of education equivalent to that of a high school graduate

Acquiring knowledge through 12 months of work involvement

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid driver's license

If you are seeking employment, it would be advantageous to have obtained EPA Level 1 Refrigeration certification or have a plan to do so within the next six months

Gaining certification in the operation of forklifts and pallet jacks can enhance an individual's job prospect

The capability to excel in company certification programs for equipment maintenance and safety, specifically BEST, FAST, and Advanced Refrigeration, is crucial for any individual aspiring to work in this field
